Oktoberfest in Texas

Oktoberfest in Texas 2026

The Lone Star State, Texas, has the highest population of immigrants with German ancestors. This influence is clearly evident in food, architecture, and the Oktoberfest celebrations.

Welcome to Texas Oktoberfest

The Oktoberfest events in Texas are extensions of the celebration of German roots by the immigrants who moved to the state in the 1840s. All the Bavarian beer fests connect people to their roots without leaving their newfound homes. Some of the Texas Oktoberfest events- Fredericksburg and New Braunfels- are amongst the oldest festivals outside Munich.
